A native Houstonian, Dr. Faustina Martinez attended undergraduate school at Houston Baptist University and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree in May of 2015. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry in May of 2020.
During her time at UHCO, her clinical rotations included HOPE clinic and the University of Houston Eye Center in the Heights. Following her graduation from optometry school, she stayed on board UHCO to complete her residency in ocular disease.
Dr. Martinez’ specialties include anterior and posterior segment disease, pre-and post- surgical management, and diseases of the optic nerve head. She is also fluent in Spanish and can provide comprehensive eye care to the Spanish speaking population.
When not indulging her fascination of all things eye related, Dr. Martinez enjoys spending time with friends and family and looking up new recipes for sweet treats. Most importantly, she is very excited to join Houston LASIK & Eye to continue providing to the local community!
